„Kartonpack likes to be first”

The relationship between Heidelberg Magyarország Kereskedelmi Kft. and Kartonpack began more than 20 years ago.

We first met László Zsukk, Sr., then president of Kartonpack, at the Printexpo printing industry exhibition in 2001. At that time, the printing industry in Hungary was still in the era of small GTO presses.

Kartonpack didn’t want to be just another company among many, so it immediately purchased a B2 four-color Heidelberg press, which was quite a rarity in 2001. That’s where our relationship began, and that’s where Kartonpack got its start in the field of high-quality industrial printing.

Since then, the company has continued to grow, and it would be difficult to describe how many printing machines have been purchased from us to reach the current level of development, which is the Heidelberg Speedmaster XL106-6+L, the pinnacle of the printing industry. Only the ”big players” have this cutting edge technology, even on a global scale.

Our relationship is based entirely on reciprocity, with the company helping Heidelberg, the world's leading printing press manufacturer, with two developments.

Kartonpack was the first in the world to test the latest electric control cabinets developed by Heidelberg, and also tested the Heidelberg die-cutting machine developed specifically for them, which enabled high-speed, custom die-cutting of labels at high capacity.

In a word: Kartonpack loves to be number one!!!!

The fact that cooperation remains excellent shows that we have successfully resolved all issues and tasks that have arisen with mutual flexibility.

We’re in touch with László Zsukk Jr., the current president, on a weekly basis; after all this time, our relationship has become more like that of friends. If any complications or difficulties arise, Kartonpack always seeks dialogue; we have never felt a superior-subordinate relationship—they have always treated us as „partners” in the strictest sense of the word.

We rarely say this, but what is our relationship with Color Pack? In a word: PERFECT!!!!!
